About Mining
Proof of Work
Wojakcoin uses SHA256 proof of work. Miners compete to find a block hash below the network target.
Block Reward
The first transaction in each block (coinbase) pays the block reward to the miner address. Reward decreases at halving events.
Target Block Time
120 seconds. Difficulty adjusts periodically so average block time stays near this target.
Miner Address
The first output of the coinbase transaction is the miner payout address. Pools may use one address per worker or a single pool address.

Higher difficulty means more hashes are required to find a valid block. See the Difficulty page for history.
